About us
We are a friendly local group of walkers, run by committee, who meet regularly to walk and socialise.
We are based (loosely) in Luddesdown, but walk from Cobham too.
Membership is £7 per year, for which you will receive two newsletters a year and an invitation to our weekly walks and quarterly socials!
Our next Social is our Autumn get together at Luddesdown Village Hall on the 27th September 2025. This is Bring and Share the food and we provide Tea and Coffee. We start at 3 PM and finish about 5:30PM. Jackie will be giving us a talk about Dode Church and its history. Also there will be our usual table Quiz Very easy !!. And our very popular Raffle (donations very gratefully received). We also do a walk before the social starting at 1:30 from the hall, please advise me if you would like to join Janet on the walk.
Our weekly walks tend to be 2-3 miles and last for about an hour and a half on Wednesday mornings starting at 11:00 am. We don't set out to break fitness or speed records; we do all wait for each other and spend some time admiring the natural environment.
If you think you would like to try us out, come along and see if you like us. We would love everyone to become a member, but you are welcome to try before you buy!
